The City of Central is an incorporated place (Class Code P1) located in East Baton Rouge Parish at latitude 30.5593 and longitude -91.0355. East Baton Rouge Parish is in the Central time zone (GMT -6). The elevation is 66 feet.

The formal official name is the City of Central, but most people and references simply refer to it as Central, Louisiana.
